an informal, accessible & community-minded space for pottery beginners!
this session will be a trial for a monthly meetup starting in summer! get hands-on with clay, learn different pottery techniques, meet other creative folks & work on projects with guidance from ceramic artist & teacher lizzie croucher. all tools, materials & inspiration provided - as well as a complimentary drink!
for this tryout session we'll be getting to grips with the very basics of clay & having a go at pinch pottery, surface decoration & adding 3d elements to our work. there'll also be some time to discuss what you'd like to see from 'clay club' - your feedback will play a crucial part in shaping the monthly meetups.
the pieces made in this initial session will be glazed & fired for you - you will be able to choose from a range of glaze colours for your creation!
